From the models set to take over Tokyo, to the tattoo artists and DJs that make up the city’s vibrant creative sphere, some of the faces shaping the Japanese capital stood before photographer Marc Hibbers’ lens in celebration of the new year. In 2026 I want to challenge myself to try something new. On a global level, I hope there will be a wider atmosphere where people respect each other’s differences instead of forcing their own ideas of what is “right” onto others
