A woman alone, walking through an unrecognizable world; dystopian, but eerily familiar.
Temperatures swing. Borders shift. The skies threaten. That idea — and the TV series “The Last of Us” — stuck in Edward Enninful’s mind as he magicked up his debut capsule collection with Moncler Genius.
Originally asked to design eight pieces, what emerged is a full 60-piece line-up. “It was really about creating a whole wardrobe, from the underpinnings to overcoats, for a woman leaving the house; layered-up and ready for anything,” explains Enninful, who pored over more than 500 images and ran AI renders of what his own survival wardrobe might look like.

ADUT wears all clothing MONCLER X EE72 by Edward Enninful.
Enninful started with a jacket he already owned — Moncler’s Karakorum — and then reimagined it. The result is a refined offering for a woman who could wear it all at once and still move with ease.
“It’s a modular response to the climate; a uniform for modern unpredictability,” he adds. With Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini’s support, he married the brand’s technical ingenuity with his own luxury vernacular. The campaign, starring Adut Akech and photographed by Tyler Mitchell with styling by Rebecca Purshouse, was brought to life by an all-Black crew, embodying Enninful’s commitment to representation and storytelling.
The collection is now available at selected stores and moncler.com.
