The American fashion designer shares his typical nighttime run-of-show
1. “TV time is big at my house. Usually, I get in a good 90 minutes with Char (husband), Lady (dog) and Yoshi (robot). I am currently catching up on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ and enjoying a new series called ‘Adults’.”
2. “Before heading off to the bedroom I stop by the fish pond to turn off the light so that Miss Cunty, my beautiful oranda, can also get some sleep.”
3. “A quick, hot shower and then I wash my face with The Cream Cleansing Gel from Augustinus Bader. This is the beginning, middle and end of my skincare routine. After years of trying countless products, using only this cleanser twice daily is what I have found works best for me.”
4. “I deep clean/scrub my nails with a Kent natural bristle brush and then oil up my cuticles with Primrose + Honeysuckle Healing Cuticle Oil from Jin Soon. I finish with Eleos Aromatique Hand Balm from Aesop.”
5. “I put on my favorite Turnbull & Asser pyjamas. I love the peach-fuzz feeling of the washed silk against my skin.”
6. “I take off, and park by my nightstand, my black leather Charvet slippers. Living in a house with rough stone floors is pretty hard on them, so I go through a couple of pairs each year.”
7. “Upright and on my bed I enjoy some reading time. I love a proper hardcover book. Currently, I am re-reading ‘Geek Love’ by Katherine Dunn.”
8. “Getting into bed and in between the cool, clean, crisp cotton Frette sheets never disappoints — it’s a bedtime ritual highlight.”
9. “A last look at my phone/Instagram. I allow myself up to and no more than 15 minutes.”
10. “I blow out Gabriel, a delicious woodsy scented candle from Cire Trudon.”
11. “I express gratitude to my higher power for another day clean and sober. #gratefulnothateful”
