The Emmy-nominated actor joined us from the set of her 72 magazine shoot to reveal the seven people she’d love to invite to dinner, and the two questions she’d ask them.
Gwendoline Christie is a master of the screen. After rocketing to acclaim in Game of Thrones, her status as a Hollywood star was set. Her portrayal of Brienne of Tarth led to an Emmy nomination and plenty of roles; the 47-year-old actor went on to star in other major franchises, including The Hunger Games and Star Wars. She’s even conquered Netflix as Wednesday’s Principal Weems; the The Addams Family spin-off is the second most-streamed series of all time on the platform.
So, when we decided to honour the faces shaping Hollywood’s next act in our Modern Visionaries portfolio, Christie was a name that instantly came to mind. Whilst on set for her shoot, featured in 72’s December issue, Christie took a moment to reveal her dream dinner party guest list, and the conversations she’d be having around the table.
