Best known for his transformative 17-year tenure at Burberry as President and Chief Creative Officer, Bailey helped shape the British fashion house’s modern creative identity, blending its heritage with contemporary design and pioneering digital storytelling. He now brings that same eye for British heritage, image-making and storytelling to Burleigh.

The rebuilt site, launched today, introduces a bespoke homepage, new photography by Chris Rhodes and Edward Rollitt, and a new styling direction, while opening up Burleigh’s world to guest artists, designers, photographers, cooks and collectors. Among the first features is Creative Director Elliot Smedley’s home.

At the heart of the new vision is Burleigh itself. Founded in 1851 and based at Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent since 1889, the brand continues to make every piece in the city using its distinctive tissue transfer printing technique — the only pottery in the world still to do so.

The site explores the people, processes and place behind the pottery, alongside Burleigh’s best-known patterns, including Asiatic Pheasants, Calico, Regal Peacock, Arden and Prunus.
