Lydia Garnett explores the ‘luxury of doing nothing’ in Playing House
London-based director and photographer Lydia Garnett explores ideas of domesticity and luxury in a series of vignettes, premiering with EE72.
British director Lydia Garnett takes a rich, intimate and exploratory approach to storytelling, which has landed them collaborations with Dior, adidas and Nike, as well as the 2025 award for Best Special Project at the UKMVAs.
For their latest project, Playing House, premiering on EE72, Garnett explores “the roles surrounding domestic bliss, questioning who it is for, and performances that exist within ideas of ‘the ideal family home.’”
