27-year-old rapper Latto takes over the British capital with a pop-up in celebration of her new album, BigMama.
Over the course of an almost two-decade-long career, rapper Latto has steadily built a career on slick raps, syrupy vocals and loyal fans. This combination has been the key to her enduring success, which includes 15 million monthly Spotify listeners and acknowledgement from the Grammys and BET Awards alike.
Her latest pop-up is proof that that won’t change any time soon. The rapper took over the British capital last week in celebration of her fourth studio album, Big Mama. The albumwas an opening-day streaming success, and tracks such as “Mama” and “Chrome Heart Diaper Bag” give a glimpse into the rapper’s first foray into motherhood. Joined by a Latto mascot and a swarm of elated fans, the rapper took us on a 72-second tour of the event.
